IAT Insurance Group Names Heidi Bendick Senior Vice President of Claims Operations

Cheshire, CT (February 28, 2022) – IAT Insurance Group, a leading provider of specialty property and casualty insurance and surety products, welcomes Heidi Bendick as Senior Vice President of Claims Operations.
Heidi Bendick
brings more than 20 years of broad insurance experience to the position. “Heidi has a winning mix of technical knowledge, industry experience and people skills,” said Chief Claims Officer Trent Haas. “Her passion for employee
engagement and development aligns well with the IAT culture and we look forward to the leadership she will bring for our claims operations team.”
Bendick joins IAT Insurance from CNA where she was Vice President of Claims Operations,
leading a team of 300 employees. She has in-depth experience with claims operations, payment management, customer service/customer experience, and developing quality assurance programs. In 2019, she was named an Elite Woman in Insurance by Insurance Business America.
Her experience also includes underwriting operations and back-office processing at Travelers Insurance. She started her career as a service representative at Safeco Insurance.
Heidi holds a BS in Business Administration from Central
Washington University and an MBA from Gonzaga University.
