Commercial General Liability/Products/Completed Operations:
This coverage addresses the needs of the aviation industry's manufacturing and maintenance sectors, protecting against the risks involved in producing and servicing aircraft and aerospace components.
Each category of aviation insurance is crucial for managing the unique risks encountered by different segments of the aviation and aerospace industry.
IAT’s Aviation line provides robust coverage limits, with up to $5 million for hull damage and $20 million for liability. A distinctive aspect of our offerings includes the Flight Test Clause in our Aircraft Policy. Under this clause, aircraft that are typically certified as "Standard" may be reclassified as "Experimental" or "Restricted" due to maintenance needs, equipment modifications, or other changes. This critical feature of our policy addresses a coverage gap that many competitors overlook.
Additionally, our policies stipulate that crew members may be eligible for passenger benefits. Notably, the landing gear is always included as part of the aircraft under our coverage, even when removed and replaced by gear designed for water operations.
